Installing from CVS

The files of pmwiki-mode are available for installation through the CVS repository of sourceforge.

If you do not have CVS and use Windows, see obtaining CVS for Windows.

Here are the instructions for downloading pmwiki-mode using CVS.

  • Login to CVS server at sourceforge
    cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@pmwiki-mode.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/pmwiki-mode login
when asked for a password just press enter.
  • Change directory to the parent directory of where you want to install pmwiki-mode, e.g. if you wish to install it to the directory:
    $HOME/emacs/pmwiki-mode
you should change to the directory $HOME/emacs using for example this command:
cd $HOME/emacs.

Then follow the instructions as normal.
