Description: The $Title variable works properly (displaying the page title) when it is part of a template. But it does not work in the body of a page.

Of the SpecialMarkups that existed in PmWiki 1, all of them work in the body except for:

• $Title
• $Titlespaced
• $Attachlist

In PmWiki 2, the way to insert a page's name is to use {$Name} or {$Namespaced}. {$Title} also works for displaying a page's title, which could be different from its name (see the (:title ...:) directive).

The $Attachlist directive is now (:attachlist:), and it's currently listed as PITS:00001. --Pm
