This page tests that TAB can be used to start preformatted text

Below are snippets of preformatted text with various combinations of spaces in front.

        Preformatted text with eight spaces in front
 	Preformatted text with SPACE+TAB in front
	Preformatted text with TAB in front
	 Preformatted text with TAB+SPACE in front

Only the preformatted text with spaces at the beginning of the line are correctly formatted.

Question: Should eight spaces give the same indentation as SPACE+TAB? (This is how it looks in Emacs so I'm happy, I'd just like to check that it's correct).
