Comments/Suggestions:
- I guess this tag is a combination of <pre><code>....</code></pre> into one. So now we have Formatting rules seperately for pre, code and pre+code? I think this would come handy especially when writing computer codes or some "Ascii Art".

I tried >>pre<< and >><< and it doesnt work! why not! im getting mad grrr!
In the following pre-formatted text, it appears that the line spacing is more with some skins (e.g., gemini 12) as compared to the same text in vi or other text editor.
+-------------+ +-------------+ | | | | | y element | | x element | | | | | | - ^ U | | L R | | | | | | | | | | <-----> | | + v D | | | | | | - + | +-------------+ +-------------+
Is it possible to fix the line spacing to be smaller in gemini skin? BJayaram
