[pmwiki-users] phpdiff not working?

hello all,

i am running PmWiki 2.0.beta26 locally for development on a windoze box.  simultaneous 
edits seem broken.  the second save brings up the 'page has been modified' screen, but 
the text edit box is empty.  also, if i go 'back' to the second edit screen 
($EnableIMSCaching = 1) and click save again, the 2nd edit 'succeeds' by overwriting the 
first edit.

manually including-once phpdiff.php to force the builtin diff logic changes nothing. 
what else can i do to figure this out?
