I'm currently working on a recipe for exactly that (I have exactly the 
same situation). A beta should be ready tomorrow. Basic principle: stick 
to HTML as closely as possible, that makes it easy for people who 
convert from HTML, and I have yet to see what could be gained by doing 
anything fancy.

It has the advantage that it's been in place for a longer time (but it 
also has some drawbacks, see there).
