Because I tried to promote using a Wiki as communication platform for our current project, the task to evaluate Wiki engines was assigned to me. I knew PmWiki before and found it very easy to install. Nevertheless I tried a fair evaluation (as much as is possible in only a few hours) but I will probably end up with PmWiki(*).

When trying to get a bit more familiar with PmWiki, I found its German documentation and completed a page translation this afternoon. So I think adding a personal entry here is appropriate.

When I stumbled over some of PM's other pages - like http://www.pmichaud.com/grape and http://www.sci.tamucc.edu/wiki/Pm/LightningTalkIdeas - I suddenly knew that PmWiki would win the race ... (kind of mindshare)
