Description: The problem is related to creating a new wikipage from the adress bar. If both group and page contains international characters, in this case åäö, you can create a new page. If the groupname is %-escaped and the pagename isn't theer will be an error.

Example Going to the url http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Påve/Påve (Pope in swedish to get a page with å) workes and it can be created. Going to the url http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Påve/Nyår works but to the page http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/P%e5ve/Nyår doesn't. It sugests that i should create the page http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Main/P.

Looks like your browser doesn't encode your URL in the same encoding as your PmWiki. See Cookbook:UTF8Conv for a recipe which tries to fix such problems. I'm closing this entry, please reopen if you feel that some action is required. --Petko July 07, 2009, at 10:38 PM
