Description: I think it would be great to continue the concept of groups a step further.

Instead of just having Main.HomePage or Main.InterestingStuff

We could have groups of groups, such as Main.Soccer.HomePage or Main.Soccer.InterestingStuff.

Case 1: User Privileges Benefits

This be very similar to the hierarchal nature of folders and files.

Additionally, many network profiles are setup where a member of one group such as Company.DesktopAdministrators has access to the rights of another group such as Company.DatabaseUser.

I think this would give easier use of control over who accesses what.

Case 2: Information Category Benefits.

Information can be given at a variety of levels. For instance, Human Body, to Leg Functions, to Muscle activity in the leg, to Human Body Leg Synapse interactions. eg

HumanBody.Leg.Muscle.Synapse

I just think this would make somethings more clear.

This has been discussed (and abandoned) several times in the past; the best summary is at PmWiki.HierarchicalGroups. This isn't an absolute "no", but we still have to figure out how to make it work.
